Short version

Candidate Clipper collects nothing, sends nothing and stores nothing outside your browser. The extension makes no network requests of any kind — there is no server for your data to go to, and no analytics of any sort.

What the extension stores

When you clip a profile, the extension saves the following in your browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local):

This data stays on the device it was created on. It is not synced, backed up or transmitted anywhere by the extension.

What the extension does not do

Permissions and why they exist

The extension deliberately does not request host permissions for linkedin.com, which would let it read those pages at any time.

Deleting your data

Use “Clear list” on the extension's list page to delete every saved record, or remove individual rows. Uninstalling the extension removes its local storage along with it. Since we never receive your data, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.

Children

The extension is a professional tool and is not directed at children under 13. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date. Material changes will also be noted in the extension's release notes.
